clothing that speaks when words can’t

About Frelxpew — Wear What You Feel

I remember the morning like it just happened. My mother was heading out, wearing the same old t-shirt she had worn for years. The fabric was tired, the color faded, but she wore it like it meant something. And maybe it did. That shirt carried a lifetime of quiet love, sacrifice, and strength. It deserved to be seen. That moment planted the seed for what would later become Frelxpew.

In 2023, I gave that moment a name and a purpose. I founded Frelxpew under my company, Laura Gardner LLC, with the hope of transforming small, unspoken moments into something visible and lasting. I designed a shirt with a simple symbol—a heart gently holding a bouquet—and gave it to my mom.

It looked like just a t-shirt, but when she opened it, her smile said more than words ever could. That was the first one. And from then on, I knew: it was never just about fabric. It was about turning feeling into something you could hold. That’s what Frelxpew is here for.

Clothing That Says What Matters

At Frelxpew, we design and produce t-shirts, sweatshirts that are meant to carry meaning. Every piece we make begins with an emotion—gratitude, pride, grief, joy—and becomes something real that you can wear, hold, and remember.

Maybe it’s a hoodie that reminds you of someone you’ve lost. A t-shirt that makes your mom feel seen. Or a sweatshirt that says the thing you haven’t found the words for yet. Whatever it is, we’re here to help you put it into fabric.

Made in Texas, Start to Finish

All Frelxpew garments are made entirely in-house at our production studio located at 3018 Clinton Street, Abilene, TX 79603. We don’t use blank shirts from outside suppliers, and we don’t outsource any part of the process. Everything is built from the ground up by our own team, in one space, under one roof.

You can always tell when something is built from the inside out. That’s how I’ve always done things—not loud, not flashy, but always with intention. I never set out to build a clothing brand just to sell shirts. I wanted to create something that helps people express what they carry inside.

Frelxpew runs on a simple idea: we don’t make anything until someone asks for it. Every shirt, or sweatshirt only comes to life after an order is placed. Our workshop is operated by a team of 15 people who handle everything from fabric cutting to packaging. We keep things small on purpose, so that each order receives personal attention, and every item reflects our original intention: care and connection.

We believe that meaning starts with material. That’s why we source our fabrics directly from Big Duck Canvas, a trusted American textile supplier based in Georgia. Their high-quality cotton canvas, muslin, and tightly woven blends provide the structure, softness, and durability we need to create garments that feel good and last long.

Choosing a domestic supplier allows us to reduce delays, support American manufacturing, and maintain full visibility over the raw materials we use. For you, it means faster turnaround times and garments you can feel good wearing—inside and out.

Step-by-step, this is how we make it:

1. Fabric Selection and Cutting
We use high-quality cotton blends selected for softness, breathability, and durability. Depending on the garment type, materials range from 60% to 80% cotton, blended with polyester or rayon. Fabric rolls are measured and cut by hand for precision and consistency.

2. Sewing and Construction
Our team assembles every sweatshirt, and t-shirt in-house. Each item is stitched using industrial-grade sewing machines, carefully aligned to ensure comfort, strength, and clean finishing.

3. Artwork and Printing
Once the garment is ready, we apply your design using Direct-to-Film (DTF) technology. This method allows for full-color, high-resolution artwork that feels soft to the touch and holds up through repeated washing without cracking or fading.

4. Quality Control and Finishing
Before anything leaves our workshop, it is checked by hand. We inspect seams, stitching, fabric texture, and print alignment. We also attach our tags, steam when needed, fold carefully, and package each order with attention to detail.

5. Fulfillment
All products are made to order and shipped directly from our Abilene studio. We don’t pre-print or hold large inventory, which helps us reduce waste and maintain a personal connection to every item that goes out the door.

Who We Make It For

Frelxpew is for people who feel deeply, even if they don’t always speak it out loud. Our customers are daughters who want to thank their moms. Dog dads who want to remember long walks. Veterans who carry quiet pride. Artists, introverts, old souls, and anyone who wants to wear something that feels honest. This brand isn’t built on trends. It’s built on connection.

We are registered and verified
The brand Frelxpew operates legally under the management of LAURA GARDNER LLC a legal entity registered in the United States with EIN: 93-4548888, transparent about information and policies.
